Chicken Peppersoup


Basil leaf, also known as Occimum gratissimum  and "scent leaf in Nigeria is a delicious and medicinal plant.

Its benefits include aiding the elimination of fungal and bacterial infections, good for women's health, helping to reduce high blood sugar, helping to relieve flu symptoms and so on.

Enjoy the benefits of this amazing plant by preparing chicken Peppersoup with it.

Ingredients

10 pieces of dressed chicken
10 leaves of Basil
4 spoonfuls of blended crayfish
2 teaspoonfuls of powdered chili pepper
seasoning (according to your taste)
Salt (according to your taste)

How to cook

* put the chicken in a clean pot.
* add some water, just a little above the contents.
* put the pot on the cooker, with medium heat.
* add a little salt
* add the crayfish
*add the pepper and cover the pot with its lid
* let it boil for 7 minutes
* Then include the seasoning.
* allow it to cook for 15 minutes.
* then add the sliced basil leaves
* leave it to cook for more 10 minutes. Check if the chicken is cooked. If it is, put off the cooker, but if it is not, let it cook for more 5 minutes.

Note: You can serve with boiled plantain.
